Ukrainian designer Andre Tan has presented a collaboration with the leading home textile manufacturer, Sound Sleep.
The result of their collaboration is a stylish collection of bed linens, blankets, pillows, and sleep masks featuring Andre Tan's original prints. Innovative fabric printing techniques were used to create realistic images of Mars, cosmic meteorites, and palm leaves.
Each print has its own name: "I Know the Secret," "Morning in the Maldives," "Cosmic Connection," "Luxurious Night," "Men from Mars," and "Wishlist." Behind each name lies a unique story. For example, the brand's team describes an eye-catching red and black set: "In relationships, the most important thing is not to stay silent. Embrace, kiss, and say, 'I love you...' And it doesn't matter who says it first."
The main materials used in the collection are cotton satin and percale.
"Creating a home collection has been a long-standing dream of mine. This year, it came true thanks to the Sound Sleep brand. When working on the collection, I followed the same principles as when creating clothing because materials, colors, and textures play an important role in both a good bed linen set and a designer dress.
We paid special attention to the prints. These are not just abstract drawings. I wanted each set to convey a mood: ironic or erotic, calming or stimulating. In short, the Sound Sleep by Andre Tan collection offers an ideal bed linen set for both fans of stylish minimalism and lovers of luxury," says Andre.
"In recent years, there has been a significant increase in consumer interest in the theme of home. We see beautiful interiors in movies and TV series, on Instagram and Pinterest, and we are starting to decorate our apartments with an eye on fashion trends. Therefore, when we started working on the new home textile collection, we decided to turn to a fashion designer who could look at everyday things from a new perspective. When Andre showed us the initial sketches, we realized that we made the right choice! It stands out from everything currently available in the Ukrainian market," say the owners of Sound Sleep, Natalia and Vitaliy Kichenko.
"The range of bed linens is complemented by stylish travel accessories: travel pillows and sleep masks. Now, even during long moves or flights, you can feel like a true style icon," says Sound Sleep partner Anastasiia Hrytsenko.
The Sound Sleep by Andre Tan collection will be available for ordering starting from November 24th on the websites andretan.ua and podushka.ua, as well as in the "Epicenter" network.
